JANE FARRELLY

Hi I am Jane, the owner of The Art Hub in Bramhall. I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art from the University of Hertfordshire and I am a qualified teacher. The idea behind creating The Art Hub came from my time living in Dubai where communal art studios were prolific. I have fond memories of them as they were a source of making new friends for me when I first moved to Dubai and enabled me to progress my journey in art.

The aim is to make The Art Hub a place where people can come together to learn new skills, share knowledge and experience and be creative.

We encourage all levels of ability and welcome beginners in particular as I remember being a beginner and how intimidating that can feel in the art world.

I hope everyone who spends time at The Art Hub will enjoy themselves and feel welcome and comfortable at all times.

AMY SEARLES

Amy is a professional artist who specialises in portraiture in several different mediums, including oil, watercolour and acrylic.

She began her journey at The Art Hub by attending the adult classes and from there she began to use the studio space to work on her professional commissions.  With two children of her own she loves to spend time crafting with them and furthering their interest in the arts, so it seemed a natural progression for her to join The Art Hub team and to run our children's classes.
